OptiVein — Surgical Optical Fiber

Light delivered with precision

OptiVein is a surgical laser bare fiber compatible with SMA 905 and FC connectors, tailored for directing laser energy at soft tissue. The beam emitted from the bare fiber surface forms a controlled three-dimensional cone (“torch firing”), enabling incision, excision, tissue dissection, vaporization, hemostasis and coagulation.

Each fiber is built in three layers — core, cladding and jacket — from low-OH silica. The jacket is stripped 5–6 mm at the distal end to expose the bare cladding and core for precise energy direction.
